Kenyans ruled at yesterday's New York City Marathon, as Martin Lel and Margaret Okayo won the men's and women's crowns, respectively. It was the fifth time a Kenyan man has won the race since 1997, and the fifth time for a Kenyan woman since 1994. In addition, Kenyan men have won 12 straight Boston Marathons.
