It is now possible for Queue subscribers (requires login) to access their Queue Data Stores using the IMAP protocol. IMAP is an protocol supported by most modern email
clients, so what this means is that you can now access Queue from your email program instead of using a Web browser.
To access your Queue Data Stores using IMAP you will need to configure your email client to connect to www.irondust.com on port 143 (the default IMAP port). Use your Queue username and password
to make this connection.
In Outlook and Outlook Express, you can add an IMAP account by selecting "Accounts..." under the "Tools"
menu. Once there, make sure "Mail" is selected along the tabs at the top and then select "Add...Mail...". Enter in your name and
the email address you are using for Queue notifications. When prompted for server information select "IMAP" and type "www.irondust.com" as your IMAP server.
Queue does not provide a SMTP server, so for that field just type in your current SMTP server for another account. When prompted for your
"Account name" and "Password", enter in your Queue login information. Once the account is created, you should be ready to go, just close out all of the
remaining windows by clicking "Ok" until you are back to your mail reader.
Now, when you are back in the main window, make sure you can see the folders on the
left. If you don't, select the "View" menu, then "Layout..." Make sure the "Folder List" box is checked. In the folder list you should see
the new account you just created. Right click on the account and select "IMAP Folders...". Select the folders you would like to see and then
select "Show".
Outlook and Outlook Express both support downloading all messages for offline viewing on a folder by folder basis. If you are
on a machine that is occassionally in offline mode, you may want to download all the messages while you are connected.
You should also be able to add entries to Data Stores and to copy existing entries to other Data Stores using your email client. In
Outlook Express, this is a a simple "drag-and-drop" operation. You can also create Data Stores (underneath the INBOX). The
new Data Stores will default to private to you with no notification. You can add users to the Store and/or change your notification
for the Store using the Web interface later.

Thank you.
